About This Service
We handle the complete driving licence journey through the Sarathi 4.0 portal: learner licence applications, permanent driving licence after the mandatory waiting period, renewals, duplicate licences, address changes, and adding a new vehicle class. A learner licence is valid for six months and you must hold it for at least thirty days before applying for a permanent licence. The learner test is a computer-based multiple-choice test on traffic rules and signage, followed by a practical driving test at the RTO for the permanent licence.
